Little Casseroles: Launching of Cipta Chantique

On 4th December Mak Aiyu and family received an invitation from my cousin for the launching of her new boutique Cipta Chantique (if I spell it correctly) in Wangsa Maju at 3pm. Well, Mak Aiyu is quite conservative and never been to any launching (despite the fact that Mak Aiyu was a reporter before.... he he he). So, Mak Aiyu and family decided to go there just to experience something new.

My cousin's boutique is mainly a couture boutique with lots of malaysian batik made from Terengganu. Besides that, it also provides matching accessories suitable for any occassion. In my mind, I imagined something less fancy and ordinary, however, when we reached there, we were seemed to be out of place. Everybody was dressing up, the place was decorated with lots of balloons and the most important thing, there was going to be VVIP to officiate the launch. Wow! Never came across to my mind that I actually would be in such event.

Upon our arrival, we had to sign in the guess book and we received goodies bag. Thanks a lot! I love goodies bag! Since we went there with empty stomach, we were so hungry as time shown was 3.30pm (imagine we hadn't had our lunch yet????). We saw tempting cakes and kuih and scrumptious chicken wings..... and yet, we still had to wait for the launching first. Well, we waited for the launching but at the nearest cafe because we were so hungry at that time and we had tea and kuih there just to let my stomach stop from growling.after a couple of hours waiting, finally we got to eat all the food there... he he he..... all about food.

After that we were having so much fun taking pictures with all the family members. It was such a great day because all of us were there. Perhaps we can have a family gathering after this but I don't exectly know when because my cousin is now in Australia with her family as her husband has to work there and Im not sure for how long. I really miss my nieces and nephew a lot especially the youngest and talkative one Nana. Really miss her singing and miowing... he he he....

Afterwards, me, my mom and my sis spent quite sometime in the new shopping complex there and I was so excited to see all the candies and cakes there.... naturally born to love candies and chocolate and cakes. At around 8pm we headed back to our hometown which took me about 1 and a half hour. We had a wonderful time there and it was a good experience to mingle around new people. Wish my cousin all the best with her future undertaking. May her business runs smoothly and bring wealth to the family.
